Finnish Air Line Pilots’ Association (SLL)

The Finnish Air Line Pilots' Association (SLL) was founded on the 13th of November, 1949. At that time the union included 22 pilots from Aero Oy, which later became known as Finnair. Meanwhile SLL has round about 700 members from Finnair.

In the bylaws of SLL it is said that the union collects its members into a solid professional union, takes care of and controls the negotiations and supervision of the salaries, benefits and working conditions as well as other industrial issues for its members. Furthermore, SLL actively participates in the development of flight safety and pilots working conditions worldwide.
